Course Description
Introduction to Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (ML & AI) is a hands-on course that teaches students how to use the disruptive technologies driving TikTok, Netflix, Spotify, Siri, Amazon Alexa, ChatGPT, Google Maps, Guardant Galaxy AI cancer testing, and Tesla Autopilot—just to name a few. Student learn how to train their own teachable machine, design their own machine learning app, use makerspace hardware to develop Internet of Things (IoT) projects (e.g., pet feeder, plant care, sync mood lights to music), and progress to using Python tools and libraries for AI.
